Innovative

One night, Kip and I decided to make dinner. Along with this, we also wanted Kool-Aid. Yummo! We decided grape kool-aid was best and got out the ingredients:

Grape Kool-aid packet
Cup of Sugar (don't judge me)
Water
2 Quart Container

Wait? What? Well, snark.

Apparently, niether one of us had a 2-quart container. Well, I had one at my house, but dinner was already cooked and getting coldish. Lucky for me, though, my fiancée is a genius!!

2 quarts = 1/2 gallon = container in the fridge holding the last little bit of milk! Solution found!

So Kip poured the remaining bit of milk into a tall glass and set that back inside the fridge. He rinsed out the milky container, and I poured in the little grape kool-aid packet. I began pouring the sugar, but there was a problem. The hole in the top was too small!! And the sugar went everywhere.

So Kip and I went on a search throughout the tiny kitchen to find a funnel. No such luck. I was about to start spooning the sugar into the container when Super Kip (did I tell you he's a genius?) grabbed the empty water bottle on the counter and cut the top off! He turned the top upside-down and stuck it on/in the container-that-previously-held-milk and voilà! Funnel!

We put the rest of the sugar down our make-shift funnel, and began filling it with water. Have you ever had grape kool-aid, shaken-not-stirred? Its definitely way better!

We finally sat down to eat dinner with our glasses full of delicious kool-aid and our ghetto-previously-a-milk-container-that-now-contains-kool-aid near us for tasty refills. I think we got 5 innovative points that week.
